Sony, the worlds leading robotic camera manufacturer, has strengthened its leadership position in High Definition by combining strong heritage on PTZ technology with the release of the first Full HD 1080/60p camera. The EVI-HD7V joins the ever popular EVI range of products. This unique camera offers a High Definition migration platform by supporting multi-HD formats allowing the user to select desired video output from VGA, 720p through to Full HD. The video conference market, broadcast and other A/V markets are continuing to embrace High Definition and the Sony EVI-HD7V supports this transition and moves the benchmark yet again with outstanding picture quality in Full HD.
The EVI-HD7V Full HD colour video camera sets a new benchmark in high definition picture quality. It is designed to be used in combination with a variety of video conferencing codecs and other broadcasting/AV systems to produce exceptional HD images. The multiple video output format support provides a wealth of options to match existing HD infrastructure in situ, whilst adding a future-proofing element to enable 1080/60p Full HD when ready, so even if wider systems do not support Full HD today, the EVI-HD7V provides the migration support needed for the future.
With its wide-angle field of view, built in 10x optical zoom lens, 16:9 aspect ratio, high speed & quiet PTZ operation, the EVI-HD7V can cover subjects across wide areas in a fast and discrete way, minimising disturbance.
Combining convenient features such as auto focus / auto exposure, 6 presets and external / remote control, the EVI-HD7V is ideal for applications such as videoconferencing, distance learning, houses of worship, and corporate training.
